Klamath County has a couple of great campgrounds in its region and one of it is the Odessa Campground. This camp is just about 35 minutes away from Klamath Falls so it's pretty accessible for everyone who wants to unwind and relax for a time. It features amazing natural attractions with large ponderosa pines, Douglas firs, and different types of plant species surrounding the area. The lush vegetation provides the campground a cool and fresh environment that you won't experience when you're in the city.

Plus, Odessa is located in the Klamath Basin Birding trail which means that there would be lots of opportunities for bird watching here. You can take pictures or just have a relaxing time watching different species of animals pass by you.

The camp is operated by the forest service and there are a couple of amenities being offered at the site. It has a boat ramp, tent campgrounds, trailer campgrounds, toilets, and picnic tables. However, there's no potable water available in the area so its best that you bring your own. Just take note that June and July are mosquito months so make sure that you bring insect repellants.

It's pretty easy to navigate because the camp is just west of Klamath Falls. You take Highway 140 going towards Medford and turn right as you see the Forest Service Road. Just keep going and it's at the end of the road.

Odessa Campground is just a nice place for having group excursions, family campings or just your normal weekend getaway. Don't miss this place here at Klamath County.
