Jackson County, Oregon offers some of the best fishing spots in the region simply because it has the great Rogue River in its area. If you're one of those people who really love to fish, then check out Takelma County Park in Eagle Point.
This park is located at 3970 Rogue River Drive and it lies along the banks of Rogue River. It has 40-acres of land and has .38 miles of river frontage which means that it's the perfect spot for anglers and rafters to spend some time catching some big fish.
The park has a paved parking area so it's pretty accessible regardless of the car that you drive. Plus, it has a boat ramp and a CXT vault toilet to provide convenience for visitors. What's great about it is that it's just a couple minutes away from Dodge Bridge Park so you have two great places close by each other where you can relax and unwind.
Parking fees cost $4.00 per vehicle and season passes cost $30. The operating hours are from sunrise to sunset and the park is open all year round. If you want to visit the park, take Highway 62 just northeast of Medford and in about 19 miles, take a left at Highway 234 then north at Rogue River Drive. You'll pass by Dodge Bridge and then you'll arrive at Takelma County which is just along the road.
