Spend a day or a week here at Josephine H. Stewart Recreation Area and camp in its peaceful environment with stunning overlooking views of the Lost Creek Lake. Plus, you have towering mountains surrounding you and you also get to witness its rich wildlife and do different kinds of outdoor activities.

Visitors can either hike or bike along its 11-mile trail while having the chance to do some sightseeing with different plant and animal species present in the area. Since it's close to the lake, you can also do some fishing and catch some bass or trout. If you really want to experience the lake's cool waters, take a dip or do some water skiing.

Facilities And Amenities

The camp features 151 electrical sites that come with water supply and there are flush toilets and hot showers in the area as well. For recreation, the area has a volleyball court, horseshoe pits, pet area, and a children's area. During summer, there are events being held here as well.

It's pretty easy to get here because once you reach Trail, you just turn east and take Highway 62. It takes about 12 miles to get to Josephine Stewart State Park if you're coming from Trail, Oregon.
