Christmas is coming to Grants Pass property and folks are gearing up to rejoice in the season. The annual Grants Pass Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony And Holiday Event takes place on Friday, November 25th. Revelers who live in Grants Pass will gather together downtown at the Holiday Plaza at Fifth and G streets. Carolers will raise voices in song as the giant yule tree is lit. Almost 40 feet of evergreen branches will be decked out with lights and decorations illuminating the night’s sky. A parade welcomes in 2016’s festivities with Santa Claus riding high on a Grants Pass fire engine. Other activities will include arts and crafts, historical players, and giveaways.

All the merriment begins at 5:30 p.m. with the tree being lit by Santa Claus around 7 p.m. Children having fun on this Grants Pass property can visit with Kris Kringle after the ceremony at Santa’s Workshop.
