Keep your kids safe and happy by trick or treating at businesses downtown instead of on the streets near your Grants Pass property. The 2016 Safe Halloween Downtown will take place on Monday, October 31, 2016 from 3 pm until 5 pm. Bring your little ones to the starting point at Active Home Furnishings on the corner of 6th and G Streets and then continue visiting participating businesses to gather treats. Thousands of children come every year for this event and young and old alike have a great time with others who live in Grants Pass.

This year’s event will be extra exciting because a live remote of KLDR/KAJO will be on site. Groove to some music and maybe even meet a radio personality. Meet up with friends and allow your kids to trick or treat in this well lit and safe environment. Parts of G Street will be closed for this event for the safety of participants. The Grants Pass Public Safety volunteers work really hard every year to put this event on and make sure that it runs smoothly. Be sure to thank them for their efforts.
